Her closest friends have described her in many different ways as in personality chariots and characteristics. Also on how her closest friends see her personally on the outside or just a person meeting her in person for the very first time. 

It took a while for Makayla to figure out who she was as a person on the inside and out. She struggled to find the true meaning of who Makayla is. But then she figured out the best possible words to describe herself inside and out. 

“I am very self-motivated, determined, and hardworking towards others. Basically, I am the opposite of what a Pisces would be,” Wilson said. “I’m very, like pushy towards things and Pisces are more like sympathetic and again in their own feelings. But I’m more like the person that pushes past obstacles and I keep working. Even though things are tough sometimes.”

Before she started high school, she went to Richard Henry Dana Middle School in the Wiseburn District. She was known as on the most talented soccer athlete. She joined the Dana Middle School soccer team and was on the same soccer team for 3 years. Once she graduated from Richard Henry Dana Middle School, she applied to Da Vinci Communications High School; that’s where everything started for her there in 9th grade. That’s where the true step of finding out who she truly was started.

“Beginning of high school so ninth grade when we did a lot of like self-reflecting SMART goals and stuff I was like, Oh, this is what I really am like, I tapped into my own brain, and like really like who is with Halo like what do I want to be, who am I, how do I act. Wilson said. “Yeah, all of those self-reflection projects and quizzes and stuff really like tapped into me so I would say, high school, definitely”.

Makayla a loving, determined, adventurous, bold, and fearless is now a young woman. Her form of loving others as in her family and friends is a strong passion, her determination to get things done in her way, her adventurous side where she likes to explore and to do new things, and bold has to stand up for what is right in her mindset and in the mindset of others. To basically be this fearless woman who speaks her mind towards the things she loves and adores. But how does she actually handle problems in her life? What does she do? How does she fix them? Who does she go to?

“It could be anything since I always have someone to rant to. Okay, the cooldown system, I’m mad for 24 hours and after that’s over like don’t worry about it unless it’s like obviously like a death, pr like grieving or something like that,” Wilson said. “But like if drama, I got a 24 hour period to be upset. I can do whatever I want, cry, snap whatever second. “Then once it hits midnight, I then start getting up the next day and tell myself don’t worry about it. It’s not worth your time it’s not worth stressing you have school work to do. So, once the 24 hour period hits it is over,” Wilson also stated.

As quarantine has started, Makayla has started her own business at home. Her business is called Kay’s Kreation which she has officially launched a website with her contact information, what her business is about, and how to order online. She makes crates for little kids that are having a small get-together, as a way to make a present for someone, and also as a way to make goodies for little kids. On her website, she has a section where you can order online and you as a client can choose five options that are displayed on her website that are basically five different crates made with the prices below the description included. You chose whichever crate creation you want and it will take you to a survey with questions on when you need the crates done, what is the theme, what would you like inside your crate, and the type of decorations you would like. But there is a true reason why she chose to make her own business. 

“Well, I made my own business one because just how I am very determined I want things to go my way. So why would I try to be under somebody else’s authority where I try to be my own manager,” Wilson said. “Everybody wants money, everybody wants to invest in something that they can later use on in life. And I feel like my creativity could have blossomed into something else so a business is what it concludes,” Wilson also stated. 

As Makayla talked about in the beginning she has lots of friends but she also has close friends she can always rely on. One of her closest friends is Tyler Park. Tyler is an 11th grader at DVC. Tyler has known Makayla since the 10th grade in DVC. He has always had a close connection with Makayla. He looks up to her and admires her very much in his life. Tyler has also been there for Makayla whenever she has a tough time. Tyler represents himself as a brother and as a best friend towards Makayla. 

“She means so much to me because she’s a real friend. She tells me everything. She is always there when I have no food to eat or no one to talk to,” Parker said. 

Since Tyler is very close to her. He always has the mindset that he can count on her all the time. That he always has a support system and can always go to Makayla for anything. He even has a lot to say to her with a special message that he would want to say to her always. 

“Keep being you and never stop because people actually look up to you,” Park said. 

Maya Waller an 11th grader at DVS is one of Makayla’s friends. Maya Waller as head of marketing in the UASO. Maya has known Makayla for a very long time. Maya met her in Richard Henry Dana Middle School. Maya and her bonded very well. 

“I met her in middle school, and we bonded initially through student leadership committees and soccer,” Waller said. “Her leadership skills are always on point and very skillful. She always gets things done and communicates very well with her peers,” Waller also stated. 

Kaylee Yonamine an 11th grader at DVC and she own her own business of cosmetics. She is one of the closest friends to Makayla Wilson. Kaylee is like a sister and a best friend to Makayla. Kaylee has been there for Makayla since the 7th grade. But they started to get even more closer in freshman year. Kaylee has always loved Makayla like a sister and a best friend with so much love. 

“Her unselfishness! Makayla is always willing to do whatever needs to be done or help anybody that is close to her. She never thinks twice about helping people that she loves. It could be something as simple as helping a friend with homework or even bringing them food,” Yonamine said. 

Makayla has been playing soccer since she was very young. She started playing when she was 6 years old and has been going on now for playing soccer for about 11 years.  She has loved the Woman U.S. soccer team. She has two favorite players on the U.S. woman soccer team that she looks up to. 

“I really like Becly Sauerbrunn. She’s a defender but she’s a beast, and she’s also captain. I just love her drive and determination but she has an amazing eye for the field. I also really like Catarina Macario. She is the new addition to the team and she went to Standford(my dream school) and plays the same position as me! She loves to shoot the ball as I do so I definitely relate to her,” Wilson stated. 

 “Future of DVC School Athletes” is an article that was released last year in 2020 by Juliana Roman who is an 11th grader at DVC and a journalist for the Vitruvian Post. The article talks about how Makayla Wilson has been into soccer for a very long time and how taking a break from soccer during quarantine was difficult for her. But she kept pushing since soccer is her passion. 

“As a former captain of the Da Vinci Varsity Womens’ Soccer team, Makayla has made sure to keep her team, that she described as “sisters”, on track and help her teammates stay prepared for when the season actually does start. They have not met as a team due to the various COVID rules and restrictions, but are taking initiative to stay in shape,” Roman stated.

As more in-depth comes into her life. Makayla Wilson isn’t just a high school student at DVC who is in Leadership, a peer mentor leader, the vice president of UASO, and owns and manages her own business.

“Who is Makayla Wilson. Makayla Wilson on the outside is very hungry to keep pushing and she is very determined and focus. On the inside, though I can be super sensitive and not scared to cry in front of others to show my real emotions. I’m very honest and very blunt, I don’t sugarcoat anything. I’m very original but definitely, I have a lot of different sides. And I feel like a lot of people still don’t know a lot about me but unless you know me you know who I am inside and out,” Wilson stated.

     Sus mejores amigos la descubrieron en diferentes modos de su personalidad. También en cómo la miran sus mejores amigos como una persona por fuera. 

     Duró un tiempo para que Makayla averigüe quién es como persona por fuera y por dentro. Era difícil para ella encontrar quien era Makayla verdaderamente. Pero después encontró las mejores palabras para descubrir quién es. 

     “Yo me motivó sola, determinada, y trabajadora hacia los demás.Básicamente, soy lo opuesto a lo que sería un Piscis ”, dijo Wilson. “Soy muy, como agresiva con las cosas y Piscis es más como comprensiva y nuevamente en sus propios sentimientos. Pero soy más como la persona que supera los obstáculos y sigo trabajando. Aunque a veces las cosas son difíciles,”

      Antes de comenzar la preparatoria, fui a la escuela secundaria Richard Henry Dana en el distrito de Wiseburn. Ella era conocida como una de las atletas de fútbol más talentosas. Se unió al equipo de fútbol de la escuela secundaria Dana y estuvo en el mismo equipo de fútbol durante 3 años. Cuando se graduó de la secundaria Richard Henry Dana, solicitó ingresar a la preparatoria de Da Vinci Communications; ahí es donde todo comenzó para ella allí en noveno grado. Ahí es donde comenzó el verdadero paso para descubrir quién era ella realmente. 

    “Al comienzo de la preparatoria, así que en el noveno grado, cuando hicimos muchas cosas como metas SMART y cosas así pensé,  Oh, esto es lo que realmente soy, aproveché mi propio cerebro y realmente me gustaba quién estaba con la duda en como quiero ser, quién soy, cómo actúo. Dijo Wilson. “Sí, todos esos proyectos de autorreflexión y cuestionarios y cosas que realmente me gustaron, así que diría que, definitivamente,en la escuela secundaria”.

      Makayla una joven cariñosa, determinada, aventurera, fuerte, y valiente ya es toda una mujer.

Su forma de amar a los demás como a su familia y amigos es una fuerte pasión, su determinación de hacer las cosas a su manera, su lado aventurersa donde le gusta explorar y hacer cosas nuevas, y ella tiene que defender lo que es correcto en su mente y en la mentalidad de los demás. Básicamente, ser esta mujer intrépida que dice lo que piensa sobre las cosas que ama y adora. Pero, ¿cómo maneja realmente los problemas de su vida? ¿Qué hace ella? ¿Cómo los arregla ella? ¿A quién va ella?

     “Podría ser cualquier cosa, ya que siempre tengo a alguien con quien despotricar. De acuerdo, el sistema de enfriamiento, estoy enojado por 24 horas y después de eso, no se preocupe por eso a menos que sea obviamente como una muerte, como un duelo o algo así ”, dijo Wilson. “Pero como si fuera un drama, tengo un período de 24 horas para estar molesto. Puedo hacer lo que quiera, llorar, romper cualquier segundo.“Luego, una vez que llega la medianoche, empecé a levantarme al día siguiente y me dije a mí misma que no me preocupe. No vale la pena su tiempo, no vale la pena enfatizar que tiene trabajo escolar qué hacer. Entonces, una vez que llega el período de 24 horas, se termina ,” dijo Wilson.

       Empezando la cuarentena, Makayla empezó su propio negocio en su casa. Su negocio se llama  Kay’s Kreation que ha lanzado oficialmente un sitio web con su información de contacto, de qué se trata su negocio y cómo realizar pedidos en línea. Hace cajas para niños pequeños que tienen una pequeña reunión, como una forma de hacer un regalo para alguien y también como una forma de hacer cosas divertidas para los niños pequeños. En su sitio web, tiene una sección donde puede ordenar y usted como cliente puede elegir cinco opciones que se muestran en su sitio web que son básicamente cinco cajas diferentes hechas con los precios debajo de la descripción incluida. Usted elige el tipo de caja que desee y le llevará a una encuesta con preguntas sobre cuándo necesita hacer las cajas, cuál es el tema, qué le gustaría dentro de su caja y el tipo de decoración que le gustaría. Pero hay una verdadera razón por la que decidió crear su propio negocio.

     “Bueno, hice mi propio negocio porque estoy muy decidida a querer que las cosas salgan como quiero. Entonces,por qué trataría de estar bajo la autoridad de otra persona cuando trato de ser mi propia jefa”, dijo Wilson. “Todo el mundo quiere dinero, todo el mundo quiere invertir en algo que luego pueda utilizar en la vida.Y siento que mi creatividad podría haberse convertido en otra cosa, por lo que un negocio es lo que concluye,” dijo Wilson.

    Como Makayla habló al principio, tiene muchos amigos, pero también tiene amigos cercanos en los que siempre puede confiar. Uno de sus amigos más cercanos es Tyler Park. Tyler es un estudiante de undécimo grado en DVC. Tyler conoce a Makayla desde el décimo grado en DVC. Siempre ha tenido una conexión cercana con Makayla. La admira y la admira mucho en su vida. Tyler también ha estado ahí para Makayla cada vez que tiene un momento difícil. Tyler se representa a sí mismo como un hermano y como el mejor amigo de Makayla.

    “Ella significa mucho para mí porque es una verdadera amiga. Ella me cuenta todo. Ella siempre está ahí cuando no tengo comida para comer o nadie con quien hablar,” dijo Parker.

    Dado que Tyler está muy cerca de ella. Siempre tiene la mentalidad de que puede contar con ella todo el tiempo. Que siempre tiene un sistema de apoyo y siempre puede ir a Makayla por cualquier cosa. Incluso tiene mucho que decirle con un mensaje especial que le gustaría decirle siempre.

    “Sigue siendo tú mismo y nunca te detengas porque la gente realmente te admira,” dijo Park.

     Maya Waller, estudiante de 11 grado en DVS, es una de las amigas de Makayla. Maya Waller como jefa de marketing de la UASO. Maya conoce a Makayla desde hace mucho tiempo. Maya la conoció en la escuela secundaria Richard Henry Dana. Maya y ella se unieron muy bien.

     “La conocí en la escuela secundaria, y nos unimos inicialmente a través de los comités de liderazgo estudiantil y el fútbol”, dijo Waller. “Sus habilidades de liderazgo son siempre acertadas y muy hábiles. Ella siempre hace las cosas y se comunica muy bien con sus compañeros ”, dijo Waller. 

   Kaylee Yonamine es una estudiante de 11 grado en DVC y es dueña de su propio negocio de cosméticos. Ella es una de las amigas más cercanas de Makayla Wilson. Kaylee es como una hermana y la mejor amiga de Makayla. Kaylee ha estado ahí para Makayla desde el 7 grado. Pero comenzaron a acercarse aún más en el primer año. Kaylee siempre ha amado a Makayla como a una hermana y una mejor amiga con tanto amor.

      ¡Su desinterés! Makayla siempre está dispuesta a hacer lo que sea necesario o ayudar a cualquiera que esté cerca de ella. Ella nunca lo piensa dos veces antes de ayudar a las personas que ama. Podría ser algo tan simple como ayudar a un amigo con la tarea o incluso llevarle comida ,” dijo Yonamine.

        Makayla ha jugado fútbol desde que era muy joven. Comenzó a jugar cuando tenía 6 años y ahora juega fútbol desde hace unos 11 años. Le ha encantado el equipo de fútbol femenino de Estados Unidos. Tiene dos jugadoras favoritas en el equipo de fútbol femenino de Estados Unidos a las que admira.

       “Me gusta mucho Becly Sauerbrunn. Ella es una defensora pero es una bestia, y también es capitana. Me encanta su impulso y determinación, pero tiene un ojo increíble para el campo. También me gusta mucho Catarina Macario. Ella es la nueva incorporación al equipo y fue a Stanford (la escuela de mis sueños) y juega en la misma posición que yo! A ella le encanta lanzar la pelota como lo hago yo, así que definitivamente me identifico con ella,” dijo Wilson.

       “Future of DVC School Athletes” es un artículo que fue publicado el año pasado en 2020 por Juliana Roman, quien está en el 11 grado en DVC y es periodista del Vitruvian Post. El artículo habla sobre cómo Makayla Wilson ha estado interesada en el fútbol durante mucho tiempo y cómo tomarse un descanso del fútbol durante la cuarentena fue difícil para ella. Pero siguió presionando ya que el fútbol es su pasión.

      “Como ex capitana del equipo de fútbol femenino Da Vinci Varsity, Makayla se ha asegurado de mantener a su equipo, al que describió como“ hermanas,” ayuda a sus compañeras de equipo a estar preparadas para cuando realmente comience la temporada. No se han reunido como equipo debido a las diversas reglas y restricciones de COVID, pero están tomando la iniciativa para mantenerse en forma,”afirmó Roman.

        A medida que llega más profundidad a su vida. Makayla Wilson no es solo una estudiante de secundaria en DVC que está en leadership, una líder mentora de estudiantes, la vicepresidenta de UASO, y es propietaria y administra su propio negocio.

         “Quién es Makayla Wilson? Makayla Wilson en el exterior tiene muchas ganas de seguir motivada y está muy decidida y concertada. Por dentro, aunque puedo ser súper sensible y no tener miedo de llorar frente a otros para mostrar mis verdaderas emociones.Soy muy honesta y muy directa, no escondo nada. Soy muy original, pero definitivamente tengo muchos lados diferentes. Y siento que mucha gente todavía no sabe mucho sobre mí, pero a menos que me conozcas, sabes quién soy por dentro y por fuera,”dijo Wilson.
